The Croatian Kvarner Bay is a
bay in the north eastern Adriatic Sea North in Croatia.
Yacht charter Kvarner Bay is situated between the
peninsula Istria in the west and the Croatian coast area in the east.
Inhabited islands of the yacht charter Kvarner Bay are among other things Krk, Pag, Cres, Losinj and Rab.
Deducted is the name yacht charter Kvarner Bay
probably from the name “Quarner” (taken over from the Latin “mare quaternarium”
= quadrinomial sea).
Original the name adverted to
the part of the sea between the Istria coast and the islands Cres and Losinj.
Today the whole gulf between Istria and Velebit is being named after it.
The yacht charter Kvarner Bay archipelago separates itself into two parts: the islands Krk, Rab and Pag, which
proceed parallel to the Cratia coast section, which are being embossed through
the Velebit mountains and the Vinodol valley.
